Runs checkout, keeps you signed in and takes payment. Always on.
Last updated 20 September 2026.
We keep this simple. We use the cookies and browser storage we need to run the site, and our own first-party counts of how it is used, which you can switch off below. Anything that helps advertisers is off until you say yes. You can change your mind here at any time.
Runs checkout, keeps you signed in and takes payment. Always on.
Our own counts of which pages people view and whether they start checkout. On unless you switch it off.
Lets promoters measure their ads on Meta, Google and TikTok.
You have not made a marketing choice yet, so no marketing cookies are in use.
Accept all turns marketing and analytics on. Reject non-essential turns both off. The switches above stay independent if you want one on and the other off: the Analytics switch acts straight away, and Save choices changes marketing only.
These keep the site working, so they are always on and you cannot switch them off here. They cover your checkout session, staying signed in, remembering the choices you make on this page, remembering a light or dark display setting if you pick one, and the fraud checks that come with card payment through Stripe. Under UK rules, cookies that are strictly needed to provide what you asked for do not need your consent.
What we count. Which event pages are viewed, and the steps of a checkout: started, details entered, paid. A random id kept in your browser storage links your visits and those steps together, and once you buy, the order they lead to, so we can see where people drop out. The id stays until you switch Analytics off or clear your browser storage.
Why. So we and promoters can see what is working and fix what is not. Promoters see totals. These counts are our own. They are never shared with advertisers or other companies for their own use, never used to target ads, and never follow you to other sites. They are on by default because this is how we run and improve the service, and you can object at any time.
How to object. Switch Analytics off in Your choices above. It takes effect straight away, removes the random id from your browser, and is remembered on this device for up to a year, or until you switch it back on.
We also count how many times an event page is viewed, on our server. That count uses a daily hash of your connection details that changes every day and is not kept in a form that identifies you. It does not use the random id above. When you switch Analytics off, this count skips you too: your browser sends the objection cookie below with each page request and we do not record the view.
If you switch this on, the promoter of the event you are looking at can measure their own ads on Meta, Google and TikTok, and we can credit a sale to the link you came from. We set a cookie for that credit only after you say yes. If you switch this off, no ad pixel or ad tag loads, and no ad platform is told about your visit.
Some event pages have music previews. Each starts as a plain card with a button, and nothing is requested from the music service. If you press "Load from" on a card, that one player loads and the service sets its own cookies: Spotify, SoundCloud, YouTube, Mixcloud or Apple Music, whichever the promoter used. If you accept marketing cookies, every preview on a page loads without a click. YouTube previews use YouTube's privacy-enhanced player, which sets no cookie until you play the video. Pressing a button is your choice, so it is separate from the switches above.

| Sign-in cookies | Essential | Keep you signed in to your account or dashboard. |
at_session_id | Analytics (on unless you object) | A random id that links your visits and checkout steps together. First-party only, never sent to an advertiser. |

Come back to this page whenever you like, from the Cookie settings link at the bottom of any page. Saving a new marketing choice replaces the old one. If we change what the categories cover, we will ask you again. For how we handle personal data more widely, see the privacy policy.
